Travelport
Travelport are an innovative travel commerce business that promote brands and products to travel agencies, corporate buyers and developers around the world. An expired lease prompted them to relocate their space – using it as an opportunity to refresh the workplace and give staff more room to work and play in. Wanting to make a fresh start they enlisted the help of morphos to invigorate their new workspace with a bold and dynamic fit out.
Due to their online offering, a key part of the brief was to present Travelport as a technology business. It was important to improve the sense of connection amongst staff and clients. To cultivate this idea of unity, a breakout area within the kitchen was positioned to connect directly to reception, inviting customers and staff to come together. It also creates a hub for social functions and internal events. A variety of casual and formal work points were executed including a social ‘drop-in’ table, circular sit/stand hot desks and a banquet seating, providing a range of working options for staff that encourages moments of autonomy and of course moments of interaction and collaboration. Quiet rooms are also available for private meetings or staff members needing a quiet area to work.
Lots of bold colours were used throughout the fit-out, to enhance the company’s innovative and dynamic branding. This included pops of saturated colour and graphic detail on the walls, custom rugs and floors plus detailed joinery and wall paneling to achieve a sense of brand continuity throughout the entirety of the office space.
